The School of Environment's Earth Sciences film
The School of Environment's Earth Sciences film
01 March 2013
We have just released a short film that details our new Earth Sciences Programme.
The Earth Sciences programme explores the processes that have shaped Earth, from its deepest interior to its surface, and into neighbouring space. It investigates the complexity and interactions of Earth’s systems, and addresses the impact of natural processes on society.
In the film staff and students from the School of Environment talk about the type of issues they investigate. The film examines the areas of:
- Sedimentology
- Geohazards
- Climatology
- River Geomorphology
- Structural Geology
- Ecosystem Ecology
- Coastal Geomorphology
