Fieldwork and working off-campus

  • The School of Environment conducts a variety of activities in its teaching and research activities which may or may not involve exposure to a significant hazard
  • It is imperative that staff, students and visitors are suitably qualified, experienced and resourced to identify and manage the hazards relating to the equipment or activities they employ
  • Specific information for each type of activity can be found in the Total Health and Safety Manual

The School of Environment conducts teaching and research activities in a variety of settings which may involve any number of physical hazards.

It is imperative that staff, students and visitors are suitably qualified, experienced and resourced to identify and manage the hazards in the environments and situations they plan to encounter.
