Much of the research and teaching in the School is field intensive therefore we are equipped with a versatile and practical fleet of vehicles that cater for most of our transport requirements.

Vehicles

 

School of Environment vehicles are available for use by University of Auckland staff and students. Some conditions of use exist;

  • All drivers must be registered on the School's Driver Register,
  • Drivers transporting passengers in the Minibus must be formally assessed by an AA driving assessor,
  • All vehicle use is subject to user charges and will be charged to the respective Department or funding source

Vehicle bookings can be made by emailing env-vehiclebookings@auckland.ac.nz - please provide the following information with your booking;

  • Name, Department and contact details
  • Destination(s)
  • Vehicle required
  • Date and times of the booking
  • Respective charge codes

Non-Passenger - Limit Type: Enclosed Waters - Auckland Manukau, Kaipara and all NZ Nth Island lakes and waterways,  

Non-Passenger - Limit Type: Inshore - Northland, Auckland, Great Barrier and Bay of Plenty, within 2 miles from the main coast of NZ

In favourable weather conditions and in daylight hours only
