"Ttang ui Maum (The Mind of Land)" - Understanding Korean Cultural Landscapes
Congratulations to Associate Professor Hong-Key Yoon whose book “Ttang ui Maum (The Mind of Land)” was chosen as one of The Excellent Academic Books (Usu Haksul Doso) for 2011 by the Korean government Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism. This is a prestigious acknowledgement of Dr. Yoon’s contribution to the understanding of Korean cultural landscapes. The Korean government plans to distribute copies of his book to libraries and other public institutions of Korea.
“Ttang ui Maum (The Mind of Land)” offers a broad view of Korean culture in everyday life as well as other important contemporary culture including housing, multinational trends in food, fashion.
